Cancellation/No Show Policy
~ I consider ALL appointments made with me important~
I ask everyone to be respectful of my time, and those that are on the waitlist
- Minimum 48 hours notice is required - otherwise FULL treatment time fees may apply
- You must cancel via email (intuitivetherapeuticmx@gmail.com), via the website contact form (terripolowick.com) or by calling the landline @ 780-544-1704 and leaving a voicemail.
- Facebook messages are NOT accepted as a valid cancellation
- Ultimately, the Client is solely responsible to remember their scheduled appointment(s)
- Clients who have 3 (three) consecutive cancellations/reschedules, or clients who have 4 (four) cancellations/reschedules in a 12 month period will be asked to take a 6 (six) month break from Intuitive Therapeutic Massage
- The above will allow the client time to arrange their schedule to accommodate Massage Therapy treatments and/or re-assess if Massage Therapy is a good fit for them.
- When a late cancellation/no show fee is applied this CANNOT be billed to an Insurance company.
- This constitutes insurance fraud
- The receipt will state "late cancellation and/or no show fee"
- Under no circumstance will this change
- The online booking system sends out email and text appointment reminders. If you are not subscribed please log into your account to set up, or at your next appointment we can do that together
- Late cancellation/ no show fees will not apply in the event of:
- A medical emergency requiring urgent professional treatment
- a death in the family
- a natural disaster
Before we begin services, please read the following payment and cancellation policies.
- You agree to be financially responsible for all charges regardless of any applicable insurance or benefit payments, reasons which include the direct billing portals being unavailable for any reason, benefits having reached their limit and/or having not obtained the proper documentation to allow direct billing from your provider.
- It is in your best interest to contact your Insurance Provider prior to your appointment to understand your available limits and any required documentation and/or if they allow direct billing from a provider.
- Payment is expected at time of service unless you have made other payment arrangements.
Accepted forms of payment: etransfer, cash, cheque, direct billing, debit card
