My Massage Philosophy is simple...
You are important.
It works.
One of my biggest personal frustrations on the journey to feeling better is what I call the “weird notion” that you should just blindly follow what the practitioner says — no explanation, no context, no why.
I’m a firm believer that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to understanding your own body. When you know what’s going on, you’re better equipped to make meaningful, lasting changes. I’m here to empower you with that knowledge — to help you feel better, move better, and take ownership of your health.
(Fun fact: I often tell people to light their shoes on fire… ask me about it sometime.)
Communication is key. I want to know what you’re feeling, what you’re experiencing, and what you’re hoping to achieve. The more I understand your story, the better I can help you write the next chapter.
“I often tell people to light their shoes on fire.”
Sounds extreme, right? But here’s the thing — it’s a metaphor (mostly).
We’ve been conditioned to think our fancy, high-tech shoes are helping us. Cushion this, support that. But what if I told you your shoes might actually be part of the problem?
Most modern shoes are built in ways that disconnect us from our natural movement. They restrict our toes, throw off our posture, and dull our body’s ability to feel the ground — which means less stability, less feedback, and ultimately, more dysfunction or pain.
So when I say “light your shoes on fire,” I’m really saying:
🔥 Challenge what you’ve been told.
🔥 Question the comfort that’s actually holding you back.
🔥 Reconnect with your body in a more natural, intuitive way.
Of course, I don’t expect you to walk around barefoot on hot pavement — but I do want you to start thinking critically about what you put on your feet, how you move, and what your body’s trying to tell you. You deserve to understand the why behind everything, right down to your toes.
Massage is a powerful tool with healing touch that supports recovery in many ways. Whether you’re healing from an accident or injury, navigating cancer treatment, easing stress, depression, or overwhelm, or facing illness, the comfort and care of massage can bring profound relief. This is for teachers, paramedics, and anyone else who carries the weight of caring for others. I’m truly honored to walk alongside you on this journey
