My Massage Philosophy is simple...
You are important.
Your body makes sense.
Our body is always communicating - sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly - and my job is to help you understand what it’s saying, not just treat symptoms in isolation. When you understand the “why” behind pain, tension, or restriction, you’re far more empowered in your own healing.
I’m not a fan of blind, follow the expert care.
I believe you should understand what’s happening in your body, why it’s happening, and what we’re doing about it.
Knowledge is power.
Especially when it comes to your health.
Communication is at the centre of everything I do. The more I understand what you’re feeling and what you’re hoping to change, the better I can support you.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple:
I want you to feel better in your body, and more confident in what comes next.
You don’t need to push through it alone.
I believe learning about your body should feel empowering, not intimidating.
One of my biggest frustrations in healthcare is the idea that you’re expected to just “do what you’re told” without context. I think you deserve to understand what’s going on and why it matters.
(Fun fact: I often joke about “lighting your shoes on fire.”)
It’s a metaphor-mostly.
We’re often told that highly structured, cushioned shoes are always better for us. But sometimes the way we support or protect our bodies actually disconnects us from how we naturally move and feel. My point isn’t that everyone should throw out their shoes-it’s that I want people to start questioning, noticing, and reconnecting with their own bodies again.
Or, for the first time.
Your body is smart. It’s always giving feedback. I want you to trust that.
